At Eighty Events, we use the highest quality of products but balloons and props should always be handled with care. Please take note of the below guidelines to ensure your displays last as long as possible.

  • Remove helium balloons from bags as soon as possible.

  • Do not force balloons into small spaces or expose balloons to rough surfaces to reduce tears or bursting the balloons.

  • Avoid drastic temperature fluctuations, store at room temperature to maintain quality and longevity. Avoid storing in areas next to the radiator, window or in cars. Keep out of direct sunlight. Extreme cold temperatures will shrink balloons, but once moved back to room temperature they are restored.

  • Latex balloons are biodegradable and if left outside or exposed to heat, they will show signs of oxidisation.

  • Balloons are made up to 24 hours in advance to check for any faults and ensure that these can be corrected.

  • Please ensure small children and pets are supervised at all times with balloons. If they pop, they could become a choking hazard and long ribbons could become entangled.

  • Please dispose of balloons responsibly by popping and binning them. Please do not release our balloons into the environment, under any circumstances. Eighty Events does not support the release of balloons due to the environmental impact on wildlife.

  • Please be aware that latex balloons can trigger allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. please keep any eye out for symptoms and seek medical advice if necessary.

  • Do not inhale the helium from balloons. It can be dangerous and some balloons may have been treated with other products.

  • Balloons with helium typically float for 8-12 hours, but depending on the environment they are kept in this time could be shorter or longer. Please be aware that based on this, the display’s appearance may change as time goes on. We do use the highest quality resources to prolong this float time.

  • Once the balloon display is set up, please take a moment to inspect it. If there are any immediate concerns or damages, notify us immediately so we can address it before your event starts.

  • Please ensure that you or your guests do not disturb or handle the balloon display, as it could cause damage, deflation, or misalignment. Balloons are delicate and can be easily popped or deflated if mishandled.

  • Keep all props dry and out of direct sunlight.

  • Please do not move any aspects of the displays to avoid damage. If you would like props or displays in a different position, please let us know during set up as this is when positioning is finalised.

  • We only cater to indoor or shaded events, please ensure that all props are kept inside and not moved outside.

  • Customers are responsible for the balloon display while it’s in their care. If any intentional or accidental damage occurs after setup, customers may be liable for repair or replacement costs.

If there are any concerns or issues with your balloons or display, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to ensure your balloons are perfect and rectify any problems as they arise.
